We met in Las Vegas in early July 85.
Two years later we married in the
United Methodist Church. In July 85
I had arrived in Las Vegas from Nebraska. Rosemary was employed by
the Nevada State Gaming Commission.
In 2006, after 21 years of LV we
decided to move to Port Angeles,
Washington to get away from the "push
and shove" and to be closer to two
of our greatgranddaughters. It is a
vast change in weather from the desert
to which we had become accustomed.
Acclimation is slow in coming !!
The mother is Chelsey, the daughter of my youngest son. Her birthday is the 4th
of December. She is turning 19.

It was announced last night that I have a new greatgrandson. He is Cayden Ray Proctor, 5 lbs 14 oz born in Columbus, Nebraska early yesterday morning. No picture is available as of now. I will publish it when I get one. He is the first of, what I suspect will be many "greats", coming along in the next few years.
This statue is two-faced and, with the exception of the arms is carved from one tree from the feet to the helmet. This is the other half that will be attached to the reverse side of the other. You can see the tree rings in the exposed base.
This picture was taken for the Winter Ball in Grand Island, Nebraska 2008. Granddaughter Malorie (left) and Granddaughter Michelle (rt) Kristie O'Conner (ctr) is an exchange student from Austrailia. "Mal" is 14, Kristie is 15, Michelle is 18
