Don't know why he was acting
a little frightened and skittish.
I just love this little guy. He is
a little love bug.

Two Dog Nap

The house was cool today so I had to
add a second dog.

It is a cool 43 degrees. With the sun on the
fence it causes the dampness to turn into
fog, hence the "fence fire" effect.

On Monday, 20 Sept, we visited the local
animal shelter and were shown Bam-Bam.
After reading about him we decided to
take a chance on him. He was very shy
at first but is now warming up to us with
kisses. We do have some minor work to
get done with him but do believe we
can overcome the problem. He is 2 years
old and gives Taz fits with his youthful
exuberance (spelled harrasment).

Salt Water Pilings and Chains

I have been wanting these since I first saw them
over 3 and 1/2 years ago. Finally got them a
couple of days ago. The top three were $150.
A birthday gift from Rosemary, the other
two we found in a vacant lot. Bought the
chains from guy that had a pile of them.

Plenty of fruit- not enough sun !!

Shasta Daisies are the best !!

We are getting a fruit about every two days.
This is a trumpet honeysuckle
vine like the one at the Omak
house.

Hoping for more sun to ripen these.Posted by Picasa

Garden Harvest

I have never grown such
large turnips before. We
will have them with the
green tops and pork
chops. The snow peas
will make a wonderful
part of the salad.

This torch was given to me by Silvia,
David's mother, a couple of years ago.
It has really tripled in size.

This iris bloom tried
to hide but its color
gave it away.

These poppies grow
everywhere. Sure add
a splash of color to
the flower garden.

Just love the subtle color
of this iris.

Thought you might like to see this years
iris crop. The iris I am standing next to
is shoulder height. Others were close
but this one took the prize.
