- We met in Las Vegas in early July 85. Two years later we married in the United Methodist Church. In July 85 I had arrived in Las Vegas from Nebraska. Rosemary was employed by the Nevada State Gaming Commission. In 2006, after 21 years of LV we decided to move to Port Angeles, Washington to get away from the "push and shove" and to be closer to two of our greatgranddaughters. It is a vast change in weather from the desert to which we had become accustomed. Acclimation is slow in coming !!

Yes it has! I can't believe the color of the trees there! The red leaves are gorgeous!!!! I love Autumn, but obviously it is not that cool here.
